The Alaska Aces squandered two power plays in overtime and fell to the Ontario Reign, 4-3 in a shootout to extend Alaska's winless streak to four games. The Aces remain an ECHL-best 31-9-6 overall.
Dan Kissel, Zach Harrison, and Jordan Kremyr scored for the Aces, while Adam Courchaine saved 21 shots in regulation and overtime.
Alaska heads to Las Vegas to begin a huge three-game series on Thursday. The Aces lead the Wranglers by eight points for the ECHL's top overall record.
