ANCHORAGE, Alaska —
In a game with odd bounces that went in favor of the opposition, the UAA Seawolves fell to 4-18-1 in the WCHA with a 3-2 setback to the Minnesota State-Mankato Mavericks on Friday night. Matt Bailey and Scott Warner notched power play goals to account for the UAA scoring.
Bailey now has three goals in the last two games, but after Warner's tying goal in the third period, the Mavericks received the game-winner form Mike Louwerse on a shot that deflected in the air past Seawolves goaltender Rob Gunderson. The visitors also scored a goal on a slow-moving shot that bounced off a UAA defender. The Seawolves outshot MSU-Mankato, 24-17.
