ANCHORAGE, Alaska —
The 17th ranked UAA men's basketball team had its six-game winning streak snapped in a hard fought showdown against #15 Western Washington, the only other ranked school in the Division II west region. The loss drops the Seawolves one and a half games behind the Vikings for the GNAC lead at 11 and 3 in conference play. Western Washington improves to 12 and 1 in the GNAC.
Taylor Rohde scored 26 points to lead UAA, but the rest of the Seawolves combined for only seven field goals. Their outside game was off, as they connected on only two of 13 attempts from three point range.
