The 11th-ranked UAA women's basketball team assured itself a tie for its first regular season Great Northwest Athletic Conference title on Thursday night with a 74-42 thrashing of St. Martin's. The Seawolves improve to 14 and 2 in conference play, two and a half games ahead of second place Western Washington. UAA owns the tiebreaker over the Vikings.
Against the Saints, Hanna Johansson and Kaylie Robison dominated on the inside, combining for 31 points on 14 of 23 shooting from the field. The Seawolves controled the glass as well, with a plus 20 advantage in rebounding.
The Seawolves are certain of being the number one seed for the conference tournament, also at St. Martin's.
