Alaska State Troopers are investigating the death of a 4-month-old Wasilla boy.

Investigators say the father of the child woke up and discovered the boy was not breathing.

Troopers say they took an emergency call shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday that the baby was unconscious and unresponsive.

The family administered CPR until medics arrived.

The child was transported to Mat-Su Regional Hospital in Palmer where doctors pronounced him dead.

No foul play is suspected.
