Staff Sgt. Christopher R. Morningstar, 27, died on Feb. 5 2006, when an improvised explosive device detonated by his vehicle near Al Husayniyah.
Morningstar, a native of San Antonio, Texas, served as a combat engineer with the 562nd Engineer Company, 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team based at Fort Wainwright.
