Spc. Jeremiah J. Boehmer, 22, died on Feb. 5 2006, when an improvised explosive device detonated by his vehicle near Al Husayniyah.
Boehmer, a native of Parkston, S.D., served as a combat engineer with the 562nd Engineer Company, 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team based at Fort Wainwright.
