ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Rep. Don Young filed to run for a twenty-first two-year term in Congress Wednesday morning.So far no major challengers have announced plans to seek Alaska's sole seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Alaska Democrats say two people with significant name recognition are considering a run against Young. Officials hope to have an announcement before the middle of March.
Young has represented Alaska for more than 40 years. The deadline to file is June 1.
